The world economy might be uncertain and your cashflow might be tight, but Christmas is around the corner. The good news is that if your wish list included a PSP, then you do not have to automatically put a line through it and look for something cheaper.

There are an abundance of great PSP console deals out there waiting for you to find them and all you have to do is look in the right places. A combination of the stagnating world economy and increased competition means that cheap PSP systems are now a reality and are waiting to be taken advantage of.

The idea is to go online and look for a genuine PSP console sale - a sale where all the sellers are keen to sell their wares and are therefore highly negotiable when it comes to price because for them cash in their pocket is better than stock with a high price tag sitting unsold on a shelf somewhere.

And the best place to find a PSP for sale online is undoubtedly on a big auction site like eBay. You will be amazed at the variation in prices that are bid for identical items and this is where you can use the auction system to your advantage. It does require a modicum of patience to identify potential bargains, but it is definitely a worthwhile exercise to go through if you end up paying 20+% less for your PSP console.

While on eBay, it might also pay you to have a look under the "buy it now" tab - you can often find a great bargain here if somebody is wanting to sell an unwanted or duplicate gift or are just plain desperate to put some cash in their pocket but don't want to endure the suspense of the auction format.
